Q: What do I need to rent a trailer?
A: ✔ A valid driver’s license
✔ Proof of insurance that extends to rented trailers (or purchase temporary coverage if needed)
✔ Completed rental application (provided after reservation request)
Q: How do I reserve a trailer?
A: Simply fill out our Reservation Form, and our team will contact you within 12-24 hours to confirm availability and send a rental application.
Q: When do I pay for my rental?
A: A deposit is required at the time of pickup and will be applied toward your total rental cost. The remaining balance will be charged once the trailer is returned and inspected. A QuickBooks invoice will be sent via email or phone for secure online payment.
Q: Do you require a deposit?
A: Yes, a deposit is due when you pick up the trailer. This deposit goes toward your final bill and will be deducted from the total rental cost upon return and inspection of the trailer.
Q: Can I get my trailer delivered?
A: Yes! We offer delivery and pickup services for an additional fee.
Q: What’s included with my rental?
A: All trailers come fully equipped with essentials such as:
✔ Winch
✔ E-track tie-down system
✔ Straps, O-rings, D-rings
✔ Spare tire kit
✔ Heavy-duty ramps (for applicable trailers)
Q: What if I need to cancel my reservation?
A: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance for a full refund of your deposit. Cancellations within 48 hours may be subject to a fee.
Q: How long can I rent a trailer for?
A: We offer hourly (up to 4 hours), daily (24 hours), and weekly (7 days) rental options.
Q: What if I return the trailer late?
A: Late returns may result in additional charges. Please contact us if you anticipate a delay.
Q: Are there any towing requirements?
A: Your towing vehicle must be properly rated for the trailer’s weight and equipped with a 2 5/16" hitch ball and a functional trailer brake controller (for applicable trailers).
Q: What happens if the trailer is damaged during my rental?
A: You are responsible for any damage incurred during your rental period. This is why insurance is required.
Q: Are you hours flexible?
A: Yes, outside of normal 6AM-10PM operating hours, we will work with you to accommodate your needs.
Q: Is VCTRS a licensed and insured business?
A: Yes! We are fully licensed and insured in the city of Ventura.
Q: Do you offer insurance in the case my insurance does not extend to rented vehicles?
A: Yes! We offer renter's insurance through our partners at MBA insurance. Directions on how to apply will be provided with your application packet, once you have reserved your trailer.
